What to Bring to Thanksgiving Dinner in 2022
The holiday season has arrived, and its time to celebrate and be grateful for the friends and family we still keep in contact with after the psychological warfare endured over the last two years. If you are lucky enough to still be on speaking terms with anyone, then consider it a blessing and do your part to show how much you love and appreciate their relationship, whether it is a family gathering or a non-traditional Friendsgiving with all your favorite peeps.
Easy to Transport Side Dishes
This item mainly applies if you are headed to a local thanksgiving affair. If you don’t already have a travel case for cake, salad, cupcakes, or a large casserole, then it’s probably a good investment if you are not typically the host and frequently a guest at other people’s soirees. It helps keep your dish neat, tidy, and easy to take back home without getting food all over your car (or the uber driver’s car). Bringing food in a crockpot is tricky, but it can be done. The biggest issue is liquids that love to jump outside the container during transport. For this reason, solid foods like bread, cakes, casseroles, and cookies make great foods to bring that area easy to move without the hassle or stress of a mess. They can also be cooked the day before to save stress during the big day.
